It feels really strange to be able to sit here typing at my computer on a game day before the game. Last year, when game started in the early afternoon, we'd be getting ready for halftime now. Instead, I'm on a break. This is great in some ways, like being able to sleep in past 5:30. The bad thing is that it wipes out most of the evening because the game doesn't even start until six. I'm estimating that I'll be back sometime after ten, since the games usuall last 3-4 hours. I stay up late enough on weekends and vacations, I should still be able to get fun stuff done.
The last day and a half have been weird. I went to sign up for the trip bus last night and the trumpet bus appeared to be full. WTF? Scott supposedly set aside enough seats for the whole section...I don't like this. I don't want to ride on a bus without my section, I'd be missing a lot. The prospect has had me depressed, but I keep telling myself to talk to Scott to figure stuff out (during/after the game hopefully). I'm also reminding myself that we're only taking two trips this year, not four or five like last, so it's not as big a deal. I've also been a little down because I keep messing up at practice, but I'm trying to keep a positive frame of mind...watching some really sweet anime music videos I haven't seen before definitely helps! There's an awesome Blue Ami vid that makes me like her more, and a KICKASS high-quality Iris video that is essence of everything good about the R movie. Mmm. And my parents and Mr. Thissen are coming up for this game, so that's also cool. :) Heh, this is coming out kind of garbled in content, but I know what I mean. LJ really is good therapy.
