Ashe sent me flowers!
Delivery guy called me twice trying to find the place (dratted GPS blackout zone!) The first time I thought he was trying to deliver one of my mom's IKEA packages that she said to look out for, and then I caught the word "florist" the second time and went "hmmm." (Dude was also kinda mumbly.)
Because you should have flowers!

I heart the world
Jul. 14th, 2002 11:44 amFor right now, I am with my Val preparing to eat, comic shop, and just be dorks together. Even though I'm leaving later today, it's okay because I got to see one of my favorite people in the world and it's just nice to be around someone who cares about you and understands you and accepts you for the obsessive geeky fangirl you are, right? Yesterday we went to the RenFaire and it was quite cool. (Kittens! We saw KITTENS!) I didn't actually buy anything, which is good for the Otakon supply, but there were lots of fun things to do and see. Alice lent me one of her dresses to wear, so even though I was a RenVirgin I was special because I was in costume. Hee!
I am feeling the love right now. I get to see Val, in two weeks I get to see Aly and Kiri and Casey and Grey at Otakon. I am quite possibly even more excited about this than about getting to meet Nightow or buy doujinshi. (Though Nightow is close. I mean hello...Yasuhiro Fucking Nightow.) We had such a blast at Animazement, and I thought it'd be at least until January (when I play host at Ohayocon) until I got to see any of them again, and now two months later, here we are! It's all about the squealing Trigun fangirl love, y'all. And pocky.
I still have much pseudo-angst in my life right now. "What will I dooooo with my life?" "Should I say screw it until next semester for this math class or take an evening class that meets every night?" but y'know? Things will work out. I can make them work out, and I've got cool peeps to help me with it. For now I can just relax and enjoy things.
