puipui won my heart with this, to someone who claimed the JK Rowling vs. RDR Books lawsuit means she's getting 'too big for her boots': "Too big for her boots"? Okay, fine, whatever, let's just take that analogy further, shall we? THEY ARE HER FUCKING BOOTS. SHE MADE THEM. SHE CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK SHE WANTS WITH THEM. IF SHE WANTS TO ALLOW SOMEONE TO MAKE MONEY OFF A WEBSITE THAT TALKS ABOUT HER BOOTS, SHE CAN DO THAT. IF SHE DOES NOT WANT TO ALLOW SOMEONE TO STEAL HER BOOTS AND SELL THEM FOR SOME QUICK CASH, SHE CAN DO THAT, TOO. THEY ARE HER FUCKING BOOTS. And you are a fucking moron.
And despite the attempted grudgewank, there's some massive fail from within the posted links, too:
I'll bet a hundred galleons that any encyclopedia of JKR's would have had the same mistakes as the Lexicon. It's my guess that she intended to copy and paste right from the Lex into the encyclopedia. Not all of it, certainly, but lets face it, the Lex is one of the best resources for HP mania out there. It may not be 100% accurate, but neither is Encyclopedia Britannica.
