Stinky feet, la la la
Feb. 19th, 2001 07:24 pmWorking on ye olde Britcom paper....or typing in lj instead. It's due tomorrow, but strangely, I'm only worried about losing story-writing time tonight. This paper seems SO MUCH EASIER than any of my Shakespeare papers. (Same prof, fyi.) I'm writing on the inside/outside dynamics of an episode of Steptoe and Son. Any fans out there? *g* I've got karate in a while, so I'm airing out the feet now. Got my gi, and it fits. I feel more karatesque. My arm feels really bruised from all the blocking combinations we did yesterday, even though it wasn't that hard. Note to self: send Dr. Demento's "Boot to the Head' mp3 to sempai. I wonder if he'll find it as funny as I do.
Weird dream last night. Yesterday, I read a bit of "A World Without," a Sailor Moon fic where Usagi tripped and didn't get to rescue Luna from the bratty kids (she clawed herself free) and Luna ended up discovering Sailor Mercury first, hence no Sailor Moon. The dream was sort of a possible midsection of the fic in which the senshi were talking . Somehow they were in contact with Endymion from the future. He was helping them and going to come back--like, he was the regular Endy from that timeline, he just happened to be in the future them. Dream logic for you. Ami was talking about how Rei was developing this thing for Endymion, but she just had this feeling that he was meant to be with someone else when he came back, like the Moon Princess, and Rei was going to get hurt or sth. Then it sort of skipped ahead and Ami was asking Rei about where she was going to live soon, and Rei referred to her boyfriend "Rob" *snort* and Ami was disappointed. Rather slashy, actually, even though it made no no no sense whatsoever. Short story long? The dream inspired a short story I'd rather be working on than this paper.
I wonder how many of you non-SM people just skipped that last section entirely? *g*
