Chocolate chip cokies make good breakfast, didja know? Even if the breakfast occurs at noon. Sigh. I always do this. Oh, well, it's Sunday, the "What? I have CLASS tomorrow? Homework time!" And they say that things change in college...anyways, I'm gonna use Terry Pratchett for my essay on an author who has imagination. Now that will not be a hard essay to write--I'll really have to limit myself when it comes to examples. Hogfather is my favorite book, I'll probably use that, Equal Rites, and Lords and Ladies. Ah Granny Weatherwax, you're my hero...

The glasses are smudgy so I'm gonna get off my ass and clean up for the day. Yay contacts.

Well what was that? X-Files just dragged for me. The ep wasn't so terribly awful...I do like Doggett and Skinner, especially Mr. A.D., but I guess my Scullyist nature showed through. I want to know what's happening to her! I'm interested in Scully, not that bullshitty claim that Mulder was dying and kept it from her. What utter bunk. We did decide that Frank Spotnitz is CC's bitch, and Jeff did his butt genie impression for us, so that's something.

Karate was fun tonight! We practiced reverse punches and I was good at it--I think I understood the body mechanics of this particular punch better. Sempai let us practice punching him in the abs and he said I was a "bruiser in the making." :) I felt so proud! Katie and I dashed off right after class and RAN to the dorm for the ep. Extra people at the big lounge tv tonight--some of Meredith's phile friends, including a visiting OBSSEr and Corrinne! My netty and real life worlds collide. It was fun. We were all pretty grossed out by the episode, though.

Fic's going well. Anyone want to read some Sailor Moon stuff that's alternate universe for a reason and isn't utterly out of character or strangers with SM names? *g* The series is off to a good start. I'm lucky to have two good betareaders. Char and Val are both picking out songs for the imaginary soundtrack! Gets rid of those evil songficcy urges without writing the horrible stuff.
