Thank you all for the kind words about my grandma--I talked to my parents last night and she's doing okay for the moment. She can't talk, but she seems to understand them, and she can move enough that at one point she took off her blood pressure cuff. Heh. I think she must not be crazy about the hospital, because Dad mentioned he was getting The Look from her. Oh, Grandma.

I meant to post this earlier in the week, but this was my very entertaining weekend. I was surprised by how good the food was at the tea house. I ate roots, y'all, and enjoyed it. And genmaicha tea = OMG YES MORE PLZ.

This scene came to me nearly 100% complete this morning as I was arranging frame samples. Go figure. And no, I have no idea whatwould happen next.

Yesterday, I had a strange yen to go find good Japanese Trigun fansites, and I surfed for a couple of hours in the computer lab whilst AIM refused to work in my room. Anyways, I left a message in the (English version) guestbook of one of the sites, and woke up this morning to a very nice message from the webmistress! She even uses anime smilies. It's so cute! She told me a little about herself and where she lives and asked about me. I think I'll reply later. Hee, now we're getting a little dialogue going between international VxM fans! Her page was really good, too, better than a lot of english fansites I've seen. Anyways, this just struck me as cool. Go now about your day, mortals.
