Beta reading is serious business
May. 31st, 2006 12:06 pmDudes, I know it's been a while since someone unfamiliar with my old and tired bullshit-fu has stupidly agreed to make my stuff suck less, but I didn't know it would require a business dinner! Actually, I'm just having dinner with
hecatehatesthat tonight for sushi and geeky, geeky joy, which is better than a business dinner unless it's the kind where the other party wants to give you a million dollars. Not that I've ever had one of those.
I WANT ONE. But I haven't had a chance to cash my refund checks to fund such a purchase BUT IT WOULD BE SO GREAT TO PLAY ON THE PLANE. Arrrrgh I guess I'll do the responsible thing and wait. I hate being responsible.
Team Hax0r Cosplay last night was fun, if hot and sweaty. (Not like that.) A simple sundress has turned into another Sewing Adventure as it turns out my measurements fit, like, three different sizes on the pattern. Sigh. Diet time for me, I think, as I can take my stomach in but it would be more difficult to inflate the boobies without surgery. We shall see how this turns out. In the meantime, I'm debating purchasing a white bokken with which to try and make Shirayuki. How much would that own? I can tell you: lots.
On one of the tables in the office's eating area, a forest of cereal boxes has sprung up. I don't know why. It's free and there are disposable bowls, plastic spoons, and milk, so no one is really questioning it. I had Count Chocula. Healthy!
