My mom just called me. There was this guy I knew in high school...his older brother was in my class, and he was an auqaintance/kinda friendly with me. His twin sister was choir friends with me. I remember he was very smart and generally a nice guy. I used to think he was pretty cool because he already spoke some conversational Japanese and tutored this quiet girl we had come here from overseas. I didn't think he was Mr. Perfect or anything, but he was a nice guy and we got along.

Yesterday he doused himself with accelerant and gasoline and set himself on fire. Obviously (or not so much, hell, not like I know) he killed himself in the process and destroyed a good portion of their home.

So here's how it is.
