Stupid things
Feb. 18th, 2002 09:46 amI'm getting a new camera today! WHEE! < /sarcastic > Because I finally figured out that the manual camera we borrowed from friends for my photography class is missing the optional attachment that changes shutter speed. And of course my prof didn't realize this when he checked it out the second week of class and said it was okay. I'm glad the parents are just saying go ahead and buy one, because as much as I adore Christine for saying I can borrow hers for this assignment, it'll be a lot easier if I don't have to worry about getting it back in time for her sunset photography project.
Okay, does anyone remember the completely-a-parody DDR songfic lemon I wrote for Trigun? Well, I noticed this weekend that it got a new review: "Lame... sorry, I'm tired of bad fic's. 2/10" Completely. Missed. The point. I wonder, HOW could they believe that a song in which the characters sing DDR lyrics and there are mysteriously-appearing colored lights and a bass track and ridiculously cheesy lemony bits, be serious? HEE! I died laughing. It totally made my day. Which was good, it made up for the stressball that I was yesterday. I tried to e-mail them back, but the address bounced...shucks.
Let's see, last stupid thing...we have class today. I know, we're not the only university that does, but the reason we do is because it's Preview Day and the uni doesn't want their prospective students to come visit us when the campus is dead and there are no classes. Grrr. But hey, it's Becky's and my second anniversary! We met at Perview Day two years ago. I remember thinking to myself, wouldn't it be neat if we got to be friends and someday were roommates and we could loko back and think it was a good thing (well, if we got along) that we were in on the same class visit? Hee.
Okay, time for getting dressed and food.
