Grr arrgh

It figures! I really wanted to catch Kiri online today in case we didn't connect before Christmas--and I come back to messages but she's gone! And dammit, at the time she was leaving them, I was having the weirdest feeling that I should go check my messages. But my lurve for Ghostbusters prevailed. Oh, well, there are worse things to have happen...at least my hair is now once more red(der than before, actually) and cute. And my brother and I have Wal-Mart bonding time. And because I am a rationalist who will not secretly unwrap and re-wrap Christmas presents but sees no harm in feeling them up, I think Marc got me one of those spindles of (looks like) 50 burnable cds for Christmas. That's what it looks/feels like, anyways. Not something I'm in dire need of at the moment since my burner was fritzed for so long, but exactly what I'll be looking for after I get through the stack I should have been done with ages ago. My brother definitely gets better at the shopping thing with age. I got him some disk thingies (or whatever you call them) for his digital video camera. He was pretty impressed with the 24x burning speed of my burner tonight when I scoffed at the "up to 16" bragging label on one of the cds at Wallyworld. I can fill up one cd with Trigun eps for Minki in three minutes, boo yah.

Wow, how random was this? I think I'll play some more FFIV before I go to bed with my pretty, pretty hair.

Note to self:

Don't listen to up-tempo DDR songs at one in the morning. Dammit. I really want to play now, but I think shaking the floor by playing upstairs would not win me points with the family. Besides, the songs I want to do are all on the arcade machines or on import games that I don't have. Yet.
