Couple other posts that I tend to agree with...

I hope I didn't give anyone the impression that I think all people who disagree with war should go to hell or Afghanistan--if so, I'm sorry. But regardless of the question of whether the attacks themselves were a good idea, I'm tired of the people who insist that America is the devil incarnate, just as bad or worse than the Taliban, that Georgie Boy cannot do a single thing right (I'm no Dubya supporter, but he does have some strengths) and if you show patriotism then you are a sellout and brainwashed by the government and if you were really a good person you would be a complete pacifism.

Extreme? Yeah. I'm trying to show that I don't think any anti-war people are idiots or anything, and I'm possibly doing it quite badly. I respect people's opinions. It just frustrates me that some people can't even acknowledge that we can show that respect as a good thing about the US.

I'm not sure what I'm trying to say here. I don't even know how I feel about the war. I don't believe war is a good thing, ever. But...well, this and this say it pretty well.

I don't know if I look like a complete waffler right now. I don't feel like one, but things are coming out weird today. Maybe I'll be able to say it better later.
