Short and sweet. Maybe.
Jul. 12th, 2001 02:17 amJosh and I saw Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within tonight. Fuuuuun. This is a movie that leaves me with a pleasant afterglow of contentment, and the more I think about it the more I like it. I really liked the ending; for a moment I thought they were going to cop out and...well, no spoilers here, but they didn't. And the end song is nice and shivery. I might see it again. And the animation was just...wow. So glad I saw it with Josh. He is my lovely buddy, my good friend who understand my geekery. He's a constant smiley face when the world is grim.
WNCI was airing from location at Polaris for the Aerosmith & Fuel concert most of the day, and I was jealous. It was so nice out today, and it seemed like they were having so much fun, I wanted Barenaked Ladies and Vertical Horizon to be today. I told Josh this on the way to Easton, and he agreed. Oh well, only three more days, and that seems even shorter when I consider that only two of those are working days. 2-close and 6-close, way easy. Even the 2-close seems short after yesterday's monstrosity. The beginning of long shifts are the worst because you have long stretches of boredom to look forward to...towards the end, another hour is like nothing. Anyways, I hope we have similarly nice weather Saturday. Not that it matters, with pavilion seats...when we saw Tori, it was a really bad storm, to the point that lightning was flashing basically continuously, at least every five seconds without exaggerating at all. But sunny weather seems so much more appropriate for BNL, and it would definitely put us in a better mood.
Not much else to report on, other than to say that I was damned cute tonight. Pulled my hair up in these two fairly high ponytails that made me look rather like Britney Spears, much as I hate to admit it. Tied them with my beloved blue sparkly shoelaces. The rest of the ensemble was my sleeveless white zip-up shirt with the hood, comfy brown sandals, and the jean shorts that make my ass look pretty good. *grin* Sexay bitch, aren't I? *chortles* I like this outfit. I'll wear it again sometime.
Eric is now Earache. Char has become the Little Mermaid. The circle is now complete.
