So Jaina was a frickin' sore little girl after the tennis tournament. Ow. Every joint was aching. Even my butt was sore. More proof that I need to get back to practice. Oh, well, like I need an excuse to play tennis. It made working two 3-close shifts in a row somewhat painful, what with the bending down to scrub surfaces, but I'm better now.
Been playing FFIX again--it's a good game, and I'm glad I'm playing it, but I think Googleshng of RPGamer.com is right about them needing to end the Final Fantasy series. The summons, the story structure, the extra non-human characters, the same damn lesson about friendship and believing in one another...well, it's a bit tired. Or it will be. All the good, creative stuff can work just as well in non-FF games--the FF is just an excuse to shoehorn all the old stuff in to be able to market it well. I like Zidane, though. Actually, I don't utterly hate any of the characters. It's just...I know friendship is important, I know people need to rely on each other, I get it.
Wow, the dub version of the Sailor Moon R movie is much wacky, yah? Too many lines become funny after watching the sub. Yes, Darien, your "friendship" with Fiore. It just proves the point that everyone wants to sleep with Tuxedo Mask, though. Anyways, I finally paid Josh his thirty bucks for 3 subbed movies, 2 dubbed, and 4 videotapes of 8 episodes. Don't look at me like that. I know it's hella cheap, but he wanted to just give them to me for free. So I'm not ripping him off, really.
Awwww. Rini calls Sailor Moon "Mama" as they fly off to rescue Tuxie. That melts my heart. I'm such a schmoop.
