They should a trailer from the 4-part (series) finale that contains:
-SUKI BEING ALIVE AND NOT DEAD
-A quick sequence of Katara pulling back from an Aang-kiss looking surprised, and Katara jumping into Zuko's arms for hugging. They LOVE to fuck with the shippers.
-Azula, backlit by blue light, with her hair down and looking PISSED
-Katara and Zuko bending back to back in a very cool-looking balanced sequence
-Aang and Zuko firebending side by side
-Sokka pulling Toph by the hand as they run
-Multiple characters falling into the sky
-Sokka helping Zuko swing up onto this train thing by the hand
Future episode basics:
-The Boiling Rock prison will be a two-part episode
-We will see what happened to Katara and Sokka's mom in a flashback that includes wee water tribelings
-The last episode before the finale involves the gaang going to see a really bad theater troupe put on a play of their adventures
-The series finale will be 4-episodes long. They're not fucking around on giving it time to breathe.
Clips shown:
-Zuko's speech to the frog in the Western Air Temple, since that's technically not shown here yet
-Sokka surprising Suki in her prison cell in an exchange that kinda reminded me of Han and Leia in Return of the Jedi. There are makeouts.
-A lengthy sequence of the play episode. The play is hilarious and Suki has an interesting reaction to the stage version of Yue. The whole thing is seriously meta as HELL, in a good way
No Iroh at all, except the fake play version of him. They're keeping his fate close to the vest.
As an added aside, they assured us that they are very involved with M. Night Shamalamadingdong's live-action version.

But somehow, the clothing makes me think Ursa, because Azula is always impeccable, and that looks like poorfolks clothes. Plus, Azula's hair falls differently when down...

Along with Bumi and a lot of the other Avatar allies we didn't already see in The Day of Black Sun.
But yes, I think gentle Ursa coming back and firebending her way to her boy's side would rule. RULE, I tell you!

For some reason I don't think Suki fully understood what it meant to Sokka when she made that joke; if did, it's pretty tasteless, so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. Sokka's reaction went to my heart. It was funny and sad and so in-character, him getting wobbly-eyed and fanboyish over a bad fictional representation of his failed romance, just because it was about Yue.
I've decided that the K/Z hug is a "Yay you didn't die either, cool beans!" hug. It had that feel.

I don't think there's any way Suki really could understand it. She knows Sokka was affected by being unable to protect someone, yeah, but the moment is presented so cheesily in the play, it'd be a leap for her to watch it and realize it was a hugely painful emotional moment in real life. I'm still squeeing that it looks like she'll be a regular gaang member. (And Sokka's girlfriend, woo, even if they don't come out and call her that.)
I agree. Maybe it comes after that bit with him falling out of the sky.

I don't know. But I hate the hiatus too.
Not as much as a friend does, but that's because he only became an Avatard this year, and got through seasons 1-3 in about two weeks.

::blinks:: Yeah. That could be because it's... filler? NO, BUT THAT WOULD BE BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL AND THE WRITERS LAUGHING AT US. SURELY IT CANNOT BE THAT.
Player Katara cracked me up. And I noticed she had a slit on her dress! In cold weather. Plus she was way more endowed than Katara is.
But nothing beats Aang being played by a woman. I'm guessing that's a throwback to Peter Pan.
It wasn't until the second viewing that I realized Player Zuko's scar was on the wrong side. ::snert::
...All my skepticism aside, I did squee a bit at the hug thing.

The hug thing is totally squeeable. I have a feeling it will be awesome for what it is. I just won't allow myself to believe that it means what the promo editors would like us to think. (Random: does anyone else think that Kataang sounds kind of like an awesome sound effect? "KATAANG!")
