I'd say that it is plus or minus a few points from the writer's strike in either direction.

See, Viacom's non-union, though. I suppose the strike still could have played a part, but a seven month hiatus? Pshaw! (I know, I know, preaching to the choir)

Well, there has been an appreciable improvement in the art style between seasons two and 3, so maybe the episodes are taking much longer to produce.

I don't know. But I hate the hiatus too.

Not as much as a friend does, but that's because he only became an Avatard this year, and got through seasons 1-3 in about two weeks.

I noticed that this season didn't have any of the weird pudgy art episodes, like The Desert.
