So, um, how much of a dork does it make me that, upon uploading the final chapter to the longest fic I've ever written and clicking the status over to "complete," I feel a little like bawling?

I felt so acomplished when I finish my Parallel Lives fic. I was so proud that I wrote an entry on the end and how the story came to be! I would love it if you wrote your thoughs on the story!

Besides my fic was AU yours was in the actual Bleach universe I don't know if I could ever write a chaptered fic in the Bleach universe! I probably go bonkers!

It was a really really good fic. So you should actually be proud of it and feel sad when you are finished. I hope you will write more long fics like that, it was really a pleasure reading it.

It also made me kind of/maybe/perhaps want to write my own Bleach fic too... and I never had that inclination before.

I seriously don't think you are much of a dork though, since you are not the one who felt like crying after writing a final exam because it spelled the end of a good class. Now, THAT is dorky.

Aw, thank you. :3 That makes me really happy. I will definitely write more fics, and possibly long ones, but I need a break from long, just for a bit. If you do write a Bleach fic, I'll read it. :)

You've obviously got a more artistic soul than I have. By the time I've finished a long fic, my deepest feeling is one of profound relief to see it kicked out of the door, and that it didn't turn into yet another abandoned WIP to haunt me from my hard drive!

XD I think the fact that the fic has been largely done for months helped--aside from a few scenes that need a serious rewrite, most of the rest was just cleanup. So I can let go gracefully instead of punting it out in a fit of pique.

Aww, that's awesome! Though I have to side with Tiggy--I'd be so happy if some of these near-finished fics would just come together...! I'm envious when people can start and then end so easily.
