Post of SHAME
I don't know if I should be more embarrassed about having the Tarzan soundtrack on my iPod or the fact that I'm getting all verklempt listening to it. At work. While masking out pictures of river creatures.
In order to get comments other than the mocking-me type, what music do you own that you are (or just should be but you're not) ashamed of? Let's all share.

Own, and am not ashamed of: An import copy of Pet Shop Boys' Very with the second disc of remixes and B-sides which I ordered specially because I HAD to have a copy of "Absolutely Fabulous" despite the fact that I never bothered to watch the show, let's not start. And the best of James Taylor. I should be ashamed of that, but I can't help it. That stuff instantly puts me into a good kind of coma. It's like catnip. I also have 3 Pink Floyd CDs and two of the Beatles, which are all way passe, I would suspect.
Rest assured that no one, no one has worse taste than me. No one.

also guilty of Roxette, Five for Fighting, and an unholy lust for anything Rob Thomas. :)

Also a lot of cheesy power metal like Rhapsody and Blind Guardian.

They don't blend very well with everything else I have even though that's all uber eclectic

I've found it's actually the best music to have on while writing, as it makes good "brain padding" without actually distracting you.

Of course, I also have a questionable affinity for 80s power ballads.

And a lot of Pat Benatar but I love her.

That said, the stuff I should be most ashamed of? My extensive collection of college A Capella covers of popular songs. What can I say? I like the singin'.
Also, much love for the Tarzan soundtrack. Much love.
