The line-up is crap so far. Am too embarrassed by Inuyasha fandom in general to face Kirby Morrow. Monica Rial...okay, she's cool. Pfah, I wouldn't need to go to Baltimore to see the Mac Hall guys if I wanted, I could just go to Mac Hall during the school year. If I knew what they looked like.

Why does IY fandom embarass you? I'm kind of out of touch with it (never really was into the fandom, just the show and occasionally fic), so I'm curious.

I like Kirby Morrow, but I get tired of his voice. I was never happy with him as Miroku after getting him as Van Fanel. Though I :heart: Miroku's character, it was two steps down in terms of quality of anime. Like going from a titanic-esque epic to a summer popcorn movie that you would have just rented instead had it been released in the winter.

I actually quite like Kirby as Miroku--I always thought he got him dead-on. I've heard the Esca dub is so wretched that I won't bother giving it a listen unless I feel like mocking something.

Oh contraire, I first saw Esca in dub and I liked it quite a bit.

I bonded with the characters initially in the dub form. Then I rented the second half of the series and ended up renting them in subs because that's what my library carried. As a result, I enjoy both equally.

I do like KM's vocie for the brief serious moments that Miroku has. But I'm not wild about him most of the time. Then again, I don't really like anyone on the dub except Kagome. I have deep, deep issues with the IY dub. Especially IY himself. And Kaede. And Kikyo. And Shippou-- you know, I'm going to stop right here before I get started for real.
