The posting of the quotes file is like the Academy Awards. Because it only happens every so often, and you know you've been nominated to be part of it. And you see the subject line, and you get your hopes up, and then don't see your name. But you know the people quoted did a really funny job, so you smile and clap for them. Then you tell yourself, "Maybe next time."
