So...if I dream about doing a ton of crunches, they still count, right?

for your dream abs, most likely. :)

Booooo.

WORST DREAM EVER. D:

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
But in my dream, they didn't hurt or anything!

I have dreams like this all the time with running.

"BUT IT WAS LIKE NOTHING IN MY DREAM."

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Running is a pain in the ass, but it WORKS, so I keep doing it. Sigh.

[identity profile] oxymoronic3.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. In which case the dream is acceptable, although probably not as pleasant as dreams about... idk, bouncing on giant bubbles while flying.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I HAVE head dreams where I can do like...leaping tall buildings in a single bound, that kind of thing, and it's really not flying--just a controlled descent. It was thrilling but terrifying.

[identity profile] lilydale.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I think that's less a dream and more a nightmare.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
No, it was totally fine, it didn't hurt or require effort that I felt.

BEST WORKOUT

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL I wish :(

[identity profile] empath-eia.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, it's very possible that they do count, though not for as much as real crunch would. Your muscles still faintly flex when you think about exercising -- ever watch a dog sleep and dream of running? -- and that does burn calories. It's not a very effective method, though. XD

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't think it really would be XD

Every calorie burned is a calorie burned, I suppose!

Dream You will be ripped.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
It motivated me to do real crunches today! But I think dream me has the advantage.

[identity profile] deledrius.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
They count double!
