Have you tried telling the spider that both parties of a relationship just need... some time away from each other?
Maybe the spider is insecure, Jaina. Maybe the spider needs you. Please try to be more considerate of its feelings :'(

I used the detachable showerhead to wash it down the drain and I turned the water on harder when it struggled to climb out.

I think it was only fair of you to inform spider that its ickiness was an obstacle in your relationship that you couldn't hope to overcome. It's not spider, it's you.

What is it with spiders in showers? I found a big one in our shower last weekend! Maybe they're trying to move in with us to stay warm for the winter.
