Dear random IchiHime fanperson who I'm obviously not really writing to,

I'm not gonna argue with you about whose ship is right, because that sort of thing is just dumb and we should all be able to ship who we like and be fine with it. But I have to ask: Rukia "knows that Orihime is even more important to Ichigo than she is"?

I'm all for interpreting the emotions of characters in your own way, especially when they're unspoken, but there's a point at which it becomes projection.

Yeah, I think they're well through that and out the other side, unless I missed the ENTIRE ARC where they went to save Orihime for like TWENTY MILLION EPISODES. (Which, hey, I'm watching on Adult Swim, so I totally could have missed that arc. And the lack of one doesn't mean she's not important to him-- I have no dog in this fight-- it's just...what.)

Yeah, I totally think Orihime's important to him! (In a platonic way.) And while I think it's stupid to come to the conclusion that Rukia is totally rooting for them to get together, it's at least in the realm of possibility, because of course she'd want her friends to be happy. But how on EARTH would she come to the conclusion that Orihime is totally more important in Ichigo's heart? Grade A projection thar.

I'm tired of Bleach fandom, or to be mroe specific Bleach shipping fandom. Everyone becomes more obnoxious, rude and condescending as each week passes.

That was actually a mistranslation-it later came out that Matsumoto was telling Orihime something about how it was good that she was at least dealing with her feelings of jealousy, or something like that-I forget the details and haven't re-loaded the scanlations on new!computer.;

But either way, yeah-I've been avoiding the ship forums that bitch about other pairings, and I just clicked on this link when I shouldn't have. I don't see why people need to fight over a "winner" in this chapter anyway. IchiRuki fans can be happy because of the eyesex Significant Glance and Look of Dopey Joy from Ichigo, and IchiHime fans can be happy because Ichigo is rushing like made to her side. What is the point of ripping other people down?

That's what I was feeling. It wasn't a brillaint chapter but had everything that could pass it off as bareable. Fight scenes reunions and resolve. Can't people just enjoy something without being blatently bitchy and quite disrespectful to others? Is it really that hard? Or has this fandom developed such a bad inferiority complex the only way of validating your feelings is to trash talk each other?
