effervescible | Morning report and big pimping

First things first, because I live to bend people to my will:

remixredux08. You sign up. You remix a past fic by someone else. I did it last year and had a ton of fun and got to read some really good fics. We could really use some more Bleach writers, but there are a lot of good fandoms and it'd be fun for any of them.

Amusing thing of the day: I was looking up a song on songmeanings.net and found this in the comments. Some guy defending his favorite band. "MortalWombat, if you knew anything about Jane's Addiction, you would know that they are about pushing boundaries and pushing peoples 'taste buttons' and Perry Farrell has spent most of his life in bed with several women at the same time." LOL. I think we see what's really the most important to this guy!

utenatai at Katsucon (we discussed whether an "Oh snap!" from an uninvolved third party is truly a dig, or simply an acknowledgment that a snap has, in fact, been made. It was very intellectual) and with

buttercup0222 around DC. There was shopping, there was monument-ing, there were donuts and cartoons. Good times. Full post with pics later, hopefully. I didn't leave work until 9 yesterday, so was kinda busy there. Closing weeks suck.

I'm trying to edit up the follow-up to Setting Sun, Rising Moon for posting. It's both interesting, because writing that SSRM affected how I view this, which was largely written first, and horrifying, because this is a first draft done over a year ago and...yeah. I can do better now, let's just leave it at that.

I really hope work doesn't go late tonight. I need to do laundry. I am running out of socks.
