Good times
I ended up going to the doctor for 1) the check-in he wanted before prescribing a new round of Lexapro 2) medicine to exorcise the demon beast in my chest 3) something to ease the ow in my neck and shoulders from the fall. He came through on all counts and insisted I had lost weight, so here's to you, doc. ILU. Now I've got a veritable cocktail of pills.

arafel's place was a blast. The food and company were both quite good, and even though I hadn't been a big football follower, the enthusiasm was contagious and I found myself cheering or groaning with complete sincerity. The jumping up and down when WE WON was totally heartfelt. What an exciting game that was. Some of the commercials were pretty fun, too. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the screaming squirrel/other animals (hee hee, screaming grasshopper) and the Coke Causes Bi-partisan Friendship ones were pretty great. I also won the pot for the random wall-thingie for guessing the final score, which amused me a great deal since I was the newbiest football person there.
Speaking of "HOLY SHIT THAT'S AWESOME," who wants to go to the Chocolate World Expo at Palisades next Sunday? OM NOM NOM.
