X-Files, because it formed so much of what I know of fandom, and it was a much more closely connected fandom--everyone knew everyone else and everyone else's business, even though it was big. I also learned what to do and not do in flame wars. And yet there was still that love of the source, and I formed a lot of strong bonds, some that are still here ten years later.
