A pretty decent weekend!

Aside from the BOY DO-RAMA from Friday (which has been resolved on my end at least, though tomorrow might be an interesting workday), it was a nice weekend. Hung with lovediamond and Summer on Friday for füd and Avatar premierin'. My thoughts on the episode as follows, though I'm sure I'll leave out something crucial BUTOHWELL:

-Oh, Zuko. You so dumb. SO DUMB. Where be the Iroh, folks?
-I know it's not going to last, but Mai/Zuko is mighty cute. Not that he's good boyfriend material at all right now, but if he needs anyone, it's someone who won't take his crap. That said, I'm very glad I read the between-seasons comic story that explains how they got together, because I suspect if I hadn't, I would've been very BZUH?!
-AANG'S HAIR IS GREAT!
-There's something about them on a captured Fire Nation ship incognito that is just really, really hot. And Katara and Toph are just continuing their pwn-tastic bending from last season.
-Oh Aang, I TOTALLY want to hug you. And smack you upside the head a bit. But not too hard.
-Katara's issues with her dad were so understandable and nicely handled.
-Azula, you BIIIIITCH oh man, love you, evil genius. Though as hallowd mentioned, I would like to see more to her than unstoppable evil genius later this season.
-Ozai looks very young. I guess he started the big pimpin' early. Man, was he a late-in-life baby? Cuz Iroh looks like 30 years older than him.
-AW, GLIDER GOES BURNY! Nice symbolism. They're in it for real this time.
-Next week's episode looks fun! Combined with this and a preview scene for a future ep on YouTube, I wonder if one task of Aang's will be to make some changes on the inside by reaching the minds of the Fire Nation's youth.
-HA HA HA BENDER BATTLE SO CUTE. Better SD shenanigans than a lot of anime.

Yesterday I drove down to emiweebee's house for hanging and played with her kitties: one fat, one skinny, both cute. It was fun to see her again, since we haven't hung out in at least a month, and her parents always make me feel very welcome. And their no-longer-under-construction house is very nice. Today I did not much, but I had a nice exercise session at the gym. I can already tell my midsection is gonna be all hurty tomorrow.

Results of the ichi_ruki contest came out and CONGRATULATIONS hallowd and kasuchi! I'm especially pleased for you, Aino--this is one time when I think first place went to exactly who it should've.

At some point I started giggling uncontrollably, and Kirk asked what I found funny. My only response was "SHE'S! SO! DELIGHTFULLY! EVIL!!!!" Villains are like mutton-chops in that I have unnatural unstoppable love for them.
