Thank you all for the kind words about my grandma--I talked to my parents last night and she's doing okay for the moment. She can't talk, but she seems to understand them, and she can move enough that at one point she took off her blood pressure cuff. Heh. I think she must not be crazy about the hospital, because Dad mentioned he was getting The Look from her. Oh, Grandma.

I meant to post this earlier in the week, but this was my very entertaining weekend. I was surprised by how good the food was at the tea house. I ate roots, y'all, and enjoyed it. And genmaicha tea = OMG YES MORE PLZ.

1. She really needs to not be so accepting that certain people are better than her and that's that. Question WHY you won't get seated! Don't assume your brother is always right!

2. She's not someone who needs to be protected, no, but sometimes in her bluster to show she's fine, she ignores people's feelings and that's lame.

1. The idiot savant thing is fun, but sometimes she needs to cut the childish front out and act like a damn adult.
