SERIOUSLY. I'm going to talk to my parents and see when our plan is up--I was already planning on getting a new phone this summer, but if it's breaking down, maybe I can start a new one early wih Verizon without penalty or something. The battery doesn't hold a charge very well either, so it's time to put this one to pasture.

I think that if you're within three months of your renewal date, you should be good for a new phone. Our renewal date was in early Feb, but when I went in Nov to ask about new phones, they told me that I was due for a free one. w00t!
