Re: TAR finale

Well, at least it wasn't Charla and Mirna. That's something. Still, it's an excess of meh. I would've preferred a team with less assholery and whining.

Man, who knew I'd end up liking the beauty queens so much? *waves a little flag even though it's over*

Yeah, seriously. I hated the Beauty Queens for most of the last race, and then kinda liked them a little and was sad to see them go when they got cut. And then this time around, I've totally bought into the sisterhood thing.

But yeah, I did not want Eric and Danielle to win. Honestly, if they hadn't won, I didn't think they'd stay together much past the conclusion of the race; I'm still not certain they will; she's whiny, and he's a disrespectful ass.

I am satisfied a) b/c not Charla and Mirna. They annoy the shit out of me.
and b) I was rooting for the BQs, but switched when I saw that the producers had set up an unfair task where two of the three teams DID NOT FINISH IT, but were still allowed to continue the race, just to keep things falsely tight. I rooted for the winners b/c they were the only pair who did the task. I would've cried foul if someone else had won. Think of the coal-hauling, the Masai throwing-hunting challenge, and all these other exhausting, long tasks, that left some pairs trying into the wee hours of the night, but this one, when it's all on the line, is "Well, just wait out your time and you can go."?!?!? Hell, no!
