Oy. Between the many, many trips up and down stairs and all the lifting and carrying involved in moving

fadingembers to her awesome new apartment, I feel sort of beat-up. In a good way. Mostly. It definitely replaced my exercise today--depending how sore I am, I might even take tomorrow as my rest day. (I'm going for workouts five days a week, and I took Wednesday off for laundry and Ow Leg Hurtiness.)

It was quite a fun day! Sweaty, but fun. It's always fun to see Casey and Kirk, and to my surprise,

irenak was there to help too. As usual with her, we ended up having in-depth conversations on everything from politics and economics to extreme fannish dorkiness. And at the end of the day there was pizza. Yay!

While I was down in Jersey, I stopped at the comic place for Free Comic Day. Haven't read anything yet, but I'll hunker down with my funnybooks tomorrow. I'm so torn--on one hand, I'd really like to go to TPBs for several series I enjoy. On the other, it's reaaaally hard to think of not buying Invincible and Fables every month. Ah, sweet delicious comic crack.
