A Secret Between Them (And All Who Would Behold It) My fic for remix_redux. Five reflections on something none of them should know. Background Ichigo/Rukia.

The Nuclear Family "'Ichigo, hold the baby up so Kaien-dono can see him,' she ordered. He did so. The baby gurgled. So did Kaien." Kaien, Rukia & Ichigo. HM arc spoilers of a sort, futurefic crack and Ichigo background spec.

Why am I suddenly writing a lot of Kaien? More importantly, why am I suddenly writing insanity that was jossed before it ever made it onto paper? Monitor. Whatever.

The title "Protect Me from What I Want" makes me giggle (Placebo <3 <3 <3). The title "A Secret Between Them (And All Who Would Behold It)" makes me admire its coolness.

YEY PLACEBO. The title for that one was the prompt Covet gave, and I'm sure she got it from the song too. So yeah. <3 For the other one, only the part in parenthesis was mine--the rest is the original title. WE COMBINE FOR GREAT COOLNESS. And justice. Or something.
