I'm still nervous over her fate, even though I would be stunned silent (AND THAT IS HARD TO DO) if she died. I just want to KNOW.

She isn't going to die. Kubo loves her too much! Yes he does have the tendancy to stab her oocasionally so yes it's brutal but long lasting love?
