Hope you don't mind if I downloaded it, I was just looking at friends of friends pages and saw this entry. All I have to say is that: KT is crazy. And:

1. Rukia rocks in this chapter. You go girl, she's definitely a smart and talented fighter who has more in her tool box than raw power. I'm so proud of her, she really doesn't need bankai, she's awesome without it. And this is the first time we see her really fight a prolonged battle, the others have been one-hits, and I have to say I'm impressed with her ability to pull herself together despite all the emotional and physical stress she's been under.

2. Kaien is still Kaien. He's in there, KT has provided way too much evidence with this hollow overemphasizing Kaien's identity. He has his memories, his zanpaktou shikai, his personality, and the warmth Rukia noticed in 263. He even conceived of himself as Kaien, denying to be a fake. He's not pretty - unless he moves a little to the left - but he's still Kaien-dono. And I think this is going to get really interesting, because wth did Aizen do to Kaien for him to turn out this way. And how will it effect Rukia knowing what Kaien's become is another interesting question.

Either way, can't wait till 267.

Sure, it was no problem. And now we have the scanslation! Even better.

GOD Rukia rocks so hard it is almost painful. I'm not against her reaching bankai someday, I just don't think the timing makes sense now--but either way, she is kicking plenty of ass without it. I love that she was using STRATEGY in this, pressing her advantage, and showing some real kidou strength. I almost cried when I read the bit with her reminding herself to remember the Kaien she knew. That is a ton of fortitude there. God she's awesome.

Kaien is totally in there and it just makes it worse. I LOVE IT. I'm all atingle waiting to see how this resolves itself.

I haven't seen a full script translation, but I haven't been over to mangahelpers yet today--check there first. Otherwise I guess we just wait for the scanslation.
