Okay, I lied. An election post after all.

Okay, so I know the Democrats aren't perfect. They're certainly capable of their own screw-ups.

That said. WHERE'S YOUR MANDATE NOW, FUCKERS? Mwahaha.

HAHAHAHA! Oh, that's perfect.

. . . I love you.

Indeed.

Oh, good, I was getting worried I couldn't keep the secret for much longer.

Election day is the one day I enjoy the revelry of over the top partisanship...so that was pretty funny :)
tomorrow we have to be classy though...

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly! I figure everyone deserves a day of dorky celebration, though. Even those dirty Republicans ;) (I kid)

[identity profile] emiweebee.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
Someone on tv today said "It wasn't a win for the Dems, it was a loss for the Reps."

To which I say: You still lost. Bwahahahahahaha.

[identity profile] sintari.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 06:54 pm (UTC)(link)
*reads your LJ cut* You allow Republicans on your flist?!?!

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey now. There are sane Republicans, even if the loony ones are currently in charge of the madhouse.

[identity profile] sintari.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
They all live in the North Pole with Santa Claus. Sorry, I'm just bitter. Though we won all these national victories, my state went crazy with the Republicans again this year. Of course, in Georgia, even the Democrats are Republicans. *sigh*

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I totally understand. *hugs* And it's harder to hear the words of the normal ones when the crazy ones are screaming so loud!

Sweetie, I am bored like WOAH this afternoon. Please tell me you don't have a million interviews and thus can entertain me. ;)

[identity profile] sintari.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish. I'm done interviewing but now I'm training AND I got roped into doing a presentation for all our execs tomorrow explaining, in five minutes, what our department does. It has to sound professional yet subtly communicate our desperation for more headcount and a better understanding from the Sales Side of Things. At least it's over the telephone, so I'll be telling them all these things while wearing my blue jeans and (if I remember it) my Bettie Page shirt. Gah.

*points to icon* I can't win lately. But I'll be back in fandom action soon! I promise!

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
BETTIE PAGE WILL BRING YOU STRENGTH.

Wah. I don't know how I'm going to get through the next *checks clock* two hours and thirty-seven minutes. I suppose I could kick the puppy some more.

[identity profile] sintari.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Now you're just being mean! If I didn't have so much work to do I would kick the puppy with you give you a stern talking to!

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I better hold off. It's just not as fun without you here to kick the puppy lecture me.

Man Renji's gonna be pissed.

[identity profile] utenatai.livejournal.com 2006-11-09 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course, in Georgia, even the Democrats are Republicans. *sigh*

I have bad news. It's not just Georgia.

[identity profile] sintari.livejournal.com 2006-11-11 12:29 pm (UTC)(link)
And my parnoia serves me well yet again. Booooo!

[identity profile] ina-noranaya.livejournal.com 2006-11-16 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
Aye, Tennessee went Republican too, and even the Democrat candidates didn't sound much better. And the anti-gay-marriage amendment passed with over 80% of the vote.

*hugs Sintari in commiseration* The South'll come around. Eventually. But right now, I just want to move to Canada or somewhere. *whimpers and hides from the people with the torches and pitchforks*

[identity profile] sintari.livejournal.com 2006-11-16 03:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Dammit. I used to like Tennessee. Knoxville is such a cool city. *sigh*

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2006-11-11 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Just so you know, gmail provided me a link to Ann Coulter's column when I opened this comment. WHAT ARE YOU HIDING, RENET?

[identity profile] mistressrenet.livejournal.com 2006-11-11 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I DUNNO BUT THAT BITCH IS FUCKING CRAZY.
