Ichigo wasn't sure how their afternoon trip to a secluded Beach had gone from Rukia collecting seashells (Renji said that was stupid, they were just old crab houses) and discussions of whether Renji would make a good pirate (Rukia said he would, but he needed to let her cut off his foot for the peg leg) to the three of them rolling aroundin a sweaty heap, but he was kind of glad it had, even if he'd be picking sand out of uncomfortable places for days.
