Look, I don't know anything, but that still looked pretty good. I'd love to see the martial-arts and dance moves performed live, rather than on wires digitally removed from film.
No, no, no, I do NOT think there were wires, which is why it was exciting to see. The movies, now, well, as Ebert & Roeper put it, you could see Kathy Bates and Jack Nicholson doing fight scenes on wires. The need for physical talent has been lessened. This live show is the real deal.
Oh, okay! My brain no worky. :D I really liked the flip Yoruichi (purple-haired chick) did at the end. She's a gymnastic type character, so it was cool to see there was an actress who could pull it off.
He IS. I think they did a really good job with makeup, because even the contours of his face seem to match the chapters where he's fighting Ichigo. Now I wanna see Yumichika, if we've got Kenpachi and Ikkaku.
These musicals have all the hallmarks of a high school musical, including numbers that the aspiring-playwright music teacher wrote, except it's fer srs.
Rangiku must be singing about how sorry she is that the costume designers didn't put melons in her brassiere.
It is totally a high school musical, esp. with the flailing around in fights, only they've got GOOD costumes. Though I doubt shihakushou are that...shimmery.
You know the funny thing? Apparently the actress for Rangiku is fairly busty. I imagine that without anime physics, it's difficult for her to imitate Rangiku's melons without the risk of them falling out, though.
I am not nearly experienced enough to be a cosplay dork, but I totally wanted to see it to. Also, to show pictures of it to limp-haired Kenpachi cosplayers all "THIS is how you do it, bitches!"
BLEEEEEEEACH!!!!
Because one clearly wasn't enough!

I can't believe there's a second one. But, what does America really have to offer? Dora the Explorer the musical?
