AHHHH BEST WEDNESDAY EVER
Man, this has been a great day so far. GREAT GREAT DAY.
1. I woke up this morning in the exact position I was in when I fell asleep. Normally I'm a tosser-turner. So while I didn't sleep much (stayed up too late for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

2. Hey, it's Wednesday. New comic day!
3. My editor asked if he could borrow me this morning, and I followed him out to the prize closet where he said, basically, go at it. He's leaving soon (gonna miss him, srsly) and as one of his last editorial decisions, he wanted to reward me for my work by paying me in merchandise since they don't pay me enough in money (SRSLY). He asked me to restrict myself to maybe ten things, but dude, that was enough. And it was a haul. Stuffs I got:
-Kyo Kara Maoh vol. 1 + limited edition "book" DVD holder
-Lupin III: The Flying Sword
-Patlabor the Movie Special Edition
-Fruits Basket manga vol. 1-2
-Gankutsuou vol. 2-3. I already have vol. 1 and funnily enough, I was commenting just the other day on how I liked the series but I probably wouldn't get it all unless we got extra copies or something.
-Atelier Iris (PS2)
-Radiata stories (PS2)
-Grandia III (PS2)
Talk about Christmas in July. <3 editor.
4. No doubt I'll be squeeing heavily about this in greater detail later if it's true, but the early summary of this week's Bleach chapter:
"Urahara was using a Gigai studing the attack of enemys, he is safe..
Ichigo in problems. the hand of GJ was freezed, after that is enterely freezed...
Rukia saves Ichigo, when talking to Ichigo, Ice breaks and GJ is alive..."
Can we say "eeeeeeeeh!", boys and girls? I think we can.

Also, am I the only one who is actually hoping we DON'T see what happens to Orihime re: potential kidnapping adventures in Hueco Mundo? I mean, eventually, yes, or maybe snippets. But as being nearly in the dark as the characters would be very suspenseful and also send the plotline on a different path than just Rescue the Girl mark II. Okay, I admit it, it would also free up some space for Rukia onscreen. It's not an IchiRuki thing, I swear; I adore Orihime, but I think the new Orihime/Rukia friendship is FANTASTIC. But she's been front and center for a while, and I want more of our girl.

2) That prize closet list still ROCKS. W00T NICE SWAG! (Also, ain't it cool to work in a place with a prize closet?)
3) I still don't think it's gonna go "Rescue the Girl." As everyone says, we've already done it. But more than that, if Orihime goes into that tunnel and doesn't come out and her little SS guards don't make it out either, then how is ANYONE gonna know what happens? (Or that giant cleaner could come along and she could blow them all up. You know, anything's possible *g*)
4) RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKIA! Rock on, girl. And yes, we dooo need more of her (though if you talk to Ray, she's got a good theory on why we won't get it).

2) IT DOES. Sometimes the prizes are really hit and miss, since they mostly consist of extras we don't need or stuff we have no reason to keep, but there's some super-sweet stuff in there too.
3) Well, they'd still figure it out. "Heeeeeey," sez Rukia. "Orihime should be here by now. *texts Ukitake*" Msh from Ukitake: Shes not th3r3? omg! fux0r!" But she'd just be gone and OMG WHAT HAPPENED?
But yeah, don't think he's gonna do another rescue arc. I am interested to see what happens (AFTER the asskicking of Rukia).
4) Is this just gonna depress me?
I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR A SCRIPT. IT SUCKS THAT IT IS NOT HERE.

I've read up through volume 15 in the scanlations-- just stay away. They're so bad they're incomprehensible at this point. The translation is the worst scanlation engrish I've ever seen-- sentences don't make sense, it's impossible to sort out what the point of the conversation is... it's basically what I'd get if I did it myself with a japanese/english dictionary and no training.
I swore of the scanlations after chapter 108 pissed me off with its nonsensical stupidity. I can wait for the official volumes.
