HUGE storm about five this morning. Woke up to sheets of rain slicing down and BOOM BOOM BOOM going on outside. I remember when I was little, I would get scared of thunder and run into my parents' room and sleep between them until I was brave enough to go back. Funny, mom just remembered that last night and talked about some of my childhood sleeping habits, and then a storm. Heh. Anyways, in my semi-consciousness, I was only pissed because it woke me up and I kept thinking it would start to rain in the window, so I shut it and went back to zzzzzz....

I'm supposed to be working on the list o'chores mom left behind, but she's not home so I can sneak over to lj...sneak sneak sneak. Played about an hour of Vagrant Story last night and already I really like it. Final Fantasy what? Indigo was right, it does seem slow, but very fun and intriguing so far and HOOBOY is Sydney Losstarot haaaaawt. Praise be to the game designers for giving him no shirt and attractive hiphuggers. Sydney might even oust Laguna from his coveted spot as Jaina's Favorite Game Lustboy. Of course, after reading Mullenkamp's journal for a while, I keep looking for instances of Sydney/Hardin yaoiness....ahh, yaoi. When it is written well and makes sense (as opposed to that Squall/Laguna piece of eye blindingness), it puts me in a really good mood. I doubt I'll ever write it myself, but a good piece of Remy/Bobby brightens my day.

MTV is truly disgusting. I had it set on this channel for some insane reason and Mandy Moore's video was just ridiculous. She looks about fourteen, groping herself on camera.

This is a fairly boring post. Gettin' a haircut in two hours. I'm almost tmepted to chop a lot off and get an actual style, but I'm still not really sick of long hair and I don't want to give in to mom's insistance that it needs cutting.

Last but not least--Mr. Honaker, my Jedi Master of computer making/buying, found an ad that looks good. 512 MB memory, 64MB Geoforce 2 MX, DVD CD Rom, Altec Lansing 5 piece sub-woofer set, 40GB hard drive, 12X10X32 burner, and V-90 56K modem. I'd definitely need an ethernet card, too, but we're going to check this out. I don't even know what all of it means. (What's a geoforce?) But it's definitely a possibility. Now I just need to start thinking of possible names. I'm being influenced by Char again....anyways, I might run with Seiya, for my beloved boy.

Um. Technically, they are infinitely more attainable than characters that don't exist, so :P

Geoforce

I think Geoforce is the name of a brand of video card. A 64 mb video card would be really, really good. To give you an idea, my 16-mb card makes final fantasy 8 look pretty.
