The first trailer i saw felt like a "Smallville 2hour Event" Have they gotten better?

o_O How in the world did you get that out of the first trailer? For me, this is the difference between Smallville and the trailers:
Smallville - Stupid
Trailers - Incredibly awesome

Ok I lookedit up. I saw a teaser trailer, not the more recent one. Kevin Spacey looks like hes gonna kick soo much ass.
