Riiiiiiiiiight.

Every so often have one of those dreams where I'm desperately trying to go somewhere or do something and all these things pop up to delay me. Sometimes it's trying to pack for a flight, sometimes it's trying to find a non-stanky bathroom so I can pee (and no I've never had an "accident" as a result)...you get the idea.

Last night it was me trying to get ready for prom, primarily hair. Needed to curl it. And I also had to figure out whether I was going with pet freshman Jeff or my friend Chris, who I actually did go to senior prom with. I wasn't back in high school, mind you. It was some kind of...reunion prom? My subconscious didn't see fit to explain it.

So yes. My brain decided to angst about me trying to become a pretty, pretty princess. Dude, I don't even understand me.

OMG those are my anxiety dreams, too! Almost exactly, even the pee one. :-) I thought I was the only one who had those 'things constantly keep you from getting somewhere/doing something important' dreams.

Hee hee, prom. That's funny. :) Reunion prom!

I'm told they're fairly common. Oddly enough I've never had the "naked in a public place" one, just these.

I am kinda sad it was a dream...I like dressing up!

I remeber my prom night, drinking 40s outside of the 7/11 and throwing them at limos that passed by while crying.

AHHH Good Times

Prom dream? That is weird. I often have dreams where something important is happening, and in order to avoid disaster, I have to read a sign or a phone number, except each time I look at the sign, the lettering changes so I can never read it. It causes a lot of anxiety! It's actually a dream "rule" though; text never stays the same. Brains are weird.

"pet freshman jeff" still reads your LJ :)

I know ;) I thought you'd find it funny.

..ignore the fandom stuff. ;)
