Holy shit!

OH. MY. GOD.

I felt a disturbance in the Force, as if hundreds of Logan/Veronica shippers cried out and squeeage and were silenced (as they went to post in their blogs).

And to think I was just going to make a post about how I finally saw the sexual tension in this episode. I guess SO.

I'm so glad someone else watches that show. :)

Oh, fear not, k. There are enough of us that UPN picked it up for s2. :-)
Yeah, I was spoiled for The Kiss, but it was still even heavier, and therefore more squealy for the shippers, than I imagined.

I wasn't a shipper, but I'm really glad I wasn't spoiled because the OMG WTF BBQ !!!11ONE! is always fun.

You know, I'd never been all that much of a Logan fan, until he appeared at the motel and punched the ATF guy. Aw! They are so cute now! Go Logonica!

Of course, this being VM, I'm quite sure it will end badly with much angst. And now I am screaming at myself for taping the wrong frigging channel so I missed the first 20 minutes of the episode.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I am TERRIFIED that Logan will be the killer but I can't assure myself that he's not!

[identity profile] meghatron.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, I'm more concerned about that unresolved rape storyline given how angry he was at Veronica after Lilly died.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the rapist has to be someone we know, but Logan doesn't strike me as someone who'd use rape as revenge. But it's possible.

[identity profile] reannon.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
No, I don't see Logan as the rapist - but maybe turning a blind eye to it, some complicity in it, given said anger.

And where does Weevil fit in? Please oh please let Weevil still be a good guy, because I think he is absolutely HOT. Oh, and a good actor. :)

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
This is my problem--I like all of these guys! Even if they're not all great people, I don't want them to be rapists or murderers!

[identity profile] reannon.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I want to believe it's Duncan. He's nuts enough. But then, I've missed several eps.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I just keep thinking of timing--it seems to early to give us serious clues that it's him. I kinda like the theory that Duncan witnessed the murder, tried to stop it, and got shoved in the pool, hence the wetness and the clothes in the dryer. And because he can't remember/articulate it, his parents think he DID kill Lilly and that's why they're trying to protect him.

[identity profile] reannon.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. What if Mama Kane was the killer? But Daddy Kane thinks it's Duncan, which is why he circled the wagons? Mama Kane was nuts too, as I recall.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Mama Kane seems too obviously rotten to be the killer. See, this is my problem. Every time I think of a reason someone could have done it, I think of a reason why it's just a red herring! Gah!

[identity profile] reannon.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay. I give up. It was Wallace.

Darn writers. We should slip them something of whatever John Wells and Bermaga have been drinking. Then they'd screw up and we could figure this out. :)

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay. I give up. It was Wallace.

Is it sad that I've pondered how that could work?

[identity profile] reannon.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, we can justify our obsession this way: When was the last time we had a show that actually made us THINK?

[identity profile] meghatron.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Feel the LoVe!

And now I know why the episode opened with the Leo!Kissage -- the difference in chemistry is kind of frightening and the point had to made. Wow.

[identity profile] jaina.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm definitely feel it, but I'm sorry--I have to kill you now for using that ridiculous ship name. omg teh cheese.

[identity profile] reannon.livejournal.com 2005-04-13 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
LoVe! Hee! Better than my version, "Logonica."

I love me some bad puns. :)
