My latest fandom queen proclamation

Banned: Fics where Character A can't sleep/is brooding and gets up only to be distracted by Character B, who is having angsty dreams; the fic culminates with Character B whispering the name of Character A in hir sleep. Character A goes off to ruminate.

Ye gods, they are so boring. Feh. Maybe I should ditch this fandom and write some Discworld fic in time for the 25th of May.

Are you reading Trigun fic?

Not reading so much as skimming and eyerolling.

That was me two weeks ago, reading some really horrible Ed/Winry smutfic. Well, there was also a lotta laughing going on, too.

See, at least you get the enjoyment of really funny badfic. I'm just all disgruntled over here. I'm really in the mood to write my own stuff in hopes of partially de-shittifying the section, but I gots no time.

I haven't been in the Trigun section a while. Plenty of Sues there to mock. Dunno about bad fic. Hmm. Maybe write a quick parody of the above scenario you mentioned? That couldn't take terribly long, could it? Something written whenever you've got a few minutes of free time?

I think the next time I have some time to spare I'm going to write some backstory-free OTF or something. I'm in the mood for a pairing with no canon basis other than simple personality type.

In my experience, the only things people whisper in their sleep are phrases like "purple monkey dishwasher."

Well, I'd say your twu wuv is off to a rocky start. Sure, you're moving in now, but before long, she'll be denying you're roommates, and just saying you moved in without asking her.
