You know, for a minute I was like "Blink? Why does she want to know what I think about a damn city?"

I'm obviously biased on anything involving Connor, so keep that in mind. That said, it does give me the extreme wig, but it's supposed to. It does its job well! I think I'm anomaly because that didn't turn me off S4. It was awful to see such a level of manipulation of Connor, a boy who hell-dimension home aside, does not have a lot of life experience. And that was a good thing, a first indication that something was seriously wrong rather than Cordy just going "rargh, evil now." So while I would never like this ship outside the show, it worked well enough for me the way it was.

I did cover my eyes during the macking scenes, though.

Hahaha. After everyone made fun of him about the bug, he pretended to lose it...but secretly, he carries it in his pocket and talks to it at night and buys it candy and they go skipping through fields together. They're best buddies! Everything friendship should be!

I'd comment on the idea of Mugen/bug shippiness, but my brain was so traumatized by it that it erased it from my memory to protect me.

Mugen/Fuu/Jin (Funniest sex EVER)

Judging by the show, the only way that pairing would happen post-series is if Fuu once again accidentally got sucked into a brothel, and Mugen and Jin each came in, not knowing the others were there, and picked out the now-hot adult Fuu and zany things occurred.

*snerk* My ot3 of SC is actually Mugen/Fuu/Jin friendship, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't find shipfic fun to read in an "AU to my personal canon" sort of way. And HEE, someone totally needs to write that plot! A big problem would be that the boys are so straight that they'd try to have the threesome without touching each other and that just wouldn't work.

For some reason, if I were to ship any of them as pairings, I would pick Fuu/Mugen. Maybe because they've got closer maturity levels. But really, it's so not about ships.

I have trouble understanding Spike and Julia, because when they're together and even when Spike is flashing back, I just don't get any kind of chemistry or vibe between them. I suppose I could attribute that to the fact that Spike was a different person back then, or maybe it's just me. I don't think Spike is quite still in love with her at the end, at least not the way he was--how long can you love something that's gone? Love is something you do, and when the other person isn't around for you to do it to...with...whatever...well, there it is. I think Spike kind of knew that too, knew that they weren't ever going to get back where they were, but it could have been good if they'd had a different kind of life.

I call Julia a pigfucker because she makes Spike die and that makes Faye cry and I love Faye, but that's at least half for the amusement factor. I think a quarter of it is because no one should be able to pull off a leather catsuit like that. The bitch.

They were my first anime otp! I actually like their earlier relationship best--I'm such a sucker for the tragic love story carried over from the past but not working out right until they remember and THEN he's evil and it's all about trying to get back to something but they can't...(Incidentally, look up Meri's "Memory" AMV for this couple if you're interested. SO good.) I like this kind of angst and fumbling-towards-first-love better than the angst involved in the whole future marriage/daughter stuffs. And even though I've written some shamefully sappy stuff about them, I like them when they're dealing with real issues and not just "omg I love you" "I love u too" *kissyface* like 90% of SM fanfiction. It's funny--most of my favorite couples aren't real couples, and this one is, and I adore them but I adore them in spite of their schmoopiest aspects. I wonder what that says about me.

But hooray for Sesshoumaru/Kagome! I've been intrigued by that since I first started reading Inu-Yasha.

And I also love Jet/Faye. I used to read some great fics for it but most of them died when ff.net pulled the NC-17s.

But when it comes to Cowboy Bebop you can take any two adults and pair them up and I'll probably be interested.

Sesshoumaru/Kagome is something that works best for me when Inuyasha (and possibly others) is dead. Not that I'm terribly attached to Inuyasha/Kagoma, but Kagome certainly is wrapped up in him--there's a lot of baggage there. Of course, the only good fics I've ever read involving the ship have been where he was dead, so that's my experience anyway.

I wish I could find more good Jet/Faye fics! I don't think she was quite in love with Spike at the end--I don't think she would let herself get that far--but there were definite feelings, so it's not a pairing where I think they're obviously pining for each other. I think they could be very good for each other, and neither of them gets any real ending--so maybe they could find something together.

I love these two. Part of me sometimes thinks it's a cliche--the kickass chick falling for the lech with a heart of gold--but I like them so much I tell myself to shut up. I'm not compelled to read a lot of fic about them, but I'm not sure if it's them or that so many of the plots are predictable. I do think that they have one of the best shots at being happy of any of the Inuyasha fandom pairings, simply because they seem the most (comparably) normal people. And you know they're going to have tons and tons of babies. Come to think of it, I could really see Miroku is a house husband.
