So earlier today I heard about a student on campus who supposedly had a hit list and possibly a gun in his room today.  Suspension, no surprise there.  Didn't pay much attention.

Except it was on a blurb for tonight's news and HOLY SHIT I KNOW HIM WE'VE BEEN CASUAL FRIENDS AND HAVE FLIRTED SOMETIMES HOLY SHIT DUDE.

When I first admitted to my mother that I'd met Nate online, she went into this horrified string of "You don't know him!"s over and over. I pointed out that the guy sitting across from me in Macro could be a serial killer and that meeting someone in the flesh didn't guarantee they were safe.

Wow, that reminds me of a guy I used to hang out with in high school. A couple years later I found out he was arrested (and convicted) of murdering a guy by stabbing him in the chest multiple times. Totally, totally creepy.
