I used to go "OMG WTF" when thinking of the Robin/Amon shippers, because she's only 15 and he's all old and shit. Well, compared to her. And then I put on the soundtrack, which I love more than the actual series, and was reminded that the opening features Robin rubbing herself on the tv that's showing Amon's picture.

Right, never mind, Robin/Amon shippers. Carry on.

Amon in general makes me want to stab myself, plus look at the mess he made of his relationship with Touko. People want to inflict that on poor Robin?

Amon annoys the hell out of me because he had such potential, what with the unawakened powers and all. But they never did anything with it, and he was this static character the whole way through. Ugh.

And the whole Kate thing. There was obviously something there between them, yet we never got anything beyond the fact that he had to kill her. I know his arc was supposed to be his slow acceptance of Witches, but eh...

Me, I want to kick Amon in the shins. Mostly because I'm bitter about the witch hunting thing in the first place (I know you can't imagine why)

In other news because my son is cool, we've made our own valentines in Publisher. They feature Inu Yasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Witch Hunter Robin, Hello Kitty and Hamtaro (he felt he needed something for the girls...his words not mine). Also, I have the only child who is most looking forward to the Japan Pavillion at Epcot more than any other part of the Disney trip.

Actually, it's predominantly a humorous/dramatic friendship fic, until it starts to get plotty when Nagira joins them after the first 8 chapters or so, and then it's like this really incredibly well written chase fic.

But I can see where you're coming from... I don't read a lot of A/R fic. I actually read very little WHR fic, compared to other series. I really have to be in a certain mood, and it has to be well done.

Doujima/Michael any day.
