The question thing I posted the other day

From [livejournal.com profile] ash_grey_sky

1) Were I a novice monk and you a Zen master, what nonsensical thing would you do and then what nonsensical thing would you yell at me to make me achieve enlightenment?

I would make you stuff as many marshmallows in your mouth as you could fit, and then I'd say "H4 h4 h4, j00 r n0t a haxx0r d00d l1k3 m3!!!1"

2) Who is Spain? Why is Hitler? When is right? (<--- unbelievably cool points if you know where that came from) - ANYWAY, if you could steal any work of art in the world, which one would it be, and what would you do with it afterwards?

Alas, I lack the unbelievably cool points. Let's see, I would...I would take some ridiculously famous piece of modern art. And then I would burn it. Because modern art is stupid.

3) It's the Rapture. Where are you?

Getting laid.

But what if I want baby Sesshoumaru to cry?

You're a heartless bitch.

1. Which of these do you prefer: inconsolable or unfeeling? Why?

In others or in me? In others, inconsolable. Since I can't console them, I don't have to do anything. Yay lazy. (Oh, pipe down, I'm thinking of people I don't like.) And unfeeling people are more likely to be bitchy to me.

2. What's the significance of "jaina"?

I was 15. I got online. I had a few barely-used nicknames. I liked Star Wars. [livejournal.com profile] dangel told me to be Jaina.

3. Gosh, we haven't talked in forever. Isn't that horribly sad? Essay form preferable but not required. ;)

Lack of pie makes me sad.

1. What is the meaning of life?

To eat pie.

2. what was the tooth fairy's previous job?

Selling crack.

3. when will someone tell Donald Trump?

He already knows.

1) who introduced you to ANIME? Lame. But it's a question and you hadn't gotten any through yet.

No one really. I watched some when I was little without knowing what it was, and later I read about it. In high school, a couple of friends watched Sailor Moon so I tried it after a while.

2) I know essentially 3 things about you: that you're val's friend, that you write well, and that you like anime. What else do you want people to know about you?

I'm both very self-confident and quite insecure. I'm a lot nicer than people think but I'm good at being bitchy. I think you can be a geek and a normal adult at the same time. I once wanted to be an artist and now I want to see the world.

3) where you do you find new music?

Recommendations and the radio mostly.

1. Favorite artist?

Andy Kubert or the guy who draws Fables now. (Mark Bagley?)

2. What kind of story would you not gag at reading?

Ones not involving incredibly squicky pairings?

3. How long have you been online?

Since I was 15-almost-16, so...more than 7 years now.

1. Who are your current favorite anime characters?
Meryl. Vash. Wolfwood. Faye Valentine. Lupin III. Fujiko Mine. Akio Ohtori. Fuu, Mugen and Jin. Hughes.

2. Are most (if not all) of your favorite pairings canon?

Hmm...I suppose they might be, but considering anime's tendency to not resolve romantic relationships unless it's specifically a romance anime, not even my favorite pairings are technically canon. One thing that's different about anime is that most series I get into are alreadyy finished, so I don't actively ship the way I did years ago with X-Files, wanting and hoping a couple would get together. (Damn you, Chris Carter and your monkey paw of a series finale!) I think a better description is that I enjoy certain pairings rather than ship them, and even then, I'm kind of passive about it most of the time. A lot of pairings I enjoy when reading about them if it's written well, but otherwise I don't have much to do with them. Other pairings just don't interest me at all. I do like some alt pairings, and considering the character personalities involved in some of them (MerylxKnives, KagomexSesshoumaru) I think that says something about me. Maybe it's the part of my id that wants the bad boys.

3. In general, what do you think of the Trigun fandom and its current state?

That's a question that inspires a lot of thought in me, so I think I'm going to save it and do a whole post about it later.

Why is it girls play with "dolls" but boys play with "action figures" ?

And, if you could have any anime character in doll/action figure that you don't already have, which would you like?

Yay. Someone who likes Akio automatically gets bonus points from Rei. ^_^
