On Witch Hunter Robin

I was actually thinking of writing my thoughts on the series, since Casey's been watching and making comments to me all week, but she beat me to it and probably did it better, so--what she said.

Hee, sorry. I know I've been driving you crazy all week with random interjections of "WTF?!"

Ok, I'm commenting here because the people over there clearly are further ahead in the series than I am (cause I'm like mmm 5 eps in? 6 maybe?) Damon and I started watching it because it's on after InuYasha (which is our current favourite), and we can share Mom and Damon time together. Even tho it's on till midnite - it is Friday so it's ok.

Now my big issue so far is the whole...I'm not seeing all the "witches" as evil. Could be my personal bias of course, but it seems like the Witch Hunters, who use the Craft are pretty damned judgemental. I'm still trying to decide if I like the show. Your thoughts?

It's been a while since I've watched WHR, so I don't remember a bunch of the individual witches they went after. [livejournal.com profile] fadingembers sums up my thoughts pretty well, but if you're avoiding spoilers, I'll just say that I wasn't too interested in the main "mytharc" plot they went with, and I was underwhelmed by the end. Of course, I found Robin and Amon as interesting as cardboard, esp. as compare to the other characters, so depending how much you like them, your mileage may vary.

Can I just say that it's adorable that you guys watch together? How cool! Let me know if you want other anime recs. ;)
