Yeah, you read that right.  You yaoi folk are a bad influence on me.  ;)  (Plus Cash's cover of Hurt just works for this pairing, I admit it.)  Was going to be more, but I desperately hate optimizing animated icons for lj.

I desperately hate optimizing animated icons for lj.

LJ icons can only be 40k in size at the most. For a still icon that's plenty of space, but it's really not much for animated. In the case of these icons, I had to drop the amount of frames I wanted in the transition AND lower the quality of the picture, and it's a noticeable difference if you see the original. I could've just had only one or two frames in the transition, but it'd be jerky and icky. So in summary: bleah, animated icons with transitions are hard!

I might make some more still Cash icons, because that song just works.

Well, I have always said that even though I do not see the Gayness of Vash and Wolfwood, those two make a HELL of a lot more sense than the other yaoi pairings in the series that involve either of them. So if we're playing Death is Not an Option, than yeah, I choose W/V.

Since I'm not a yaoi person, I could be wrong, but I don't think the yaoi relationship would be nearly as interesting without the friendship, broken and unbroken, to back it up. These two have layers, yo, and that makes them interesting.

I think I speak for most yaoi fans-- at least the sane ones-- when I say the hotsex is merely the chocolate buttercream frosting on the rich layer cake that is the Vash/Wolfwood relationship.

I hate to break it to you, but since there's nothing inherently thrilling about boysex to me (I just don't fit in anywhere!) my appreciation of slash/yaoi depends solely on the characters, and as much as I love Wolfwood and Vash, they just don't do it for me in that way. If we switched over to a different fandom we might have a pairing in common.

And totally randomly, your icon looks like Vash is smothering Wolfwood and Wolfwood's begging us for help. XD

So lovely! Wish I was a Wolfwood/Vash fan just to properly drool over these icons, but alas am not. Still, love them anyway. And, JC's "Hurt" fits the bill for it, yep.
