Fulfilled the freeipods.com thingie

The referrals have been cleared.  The ipod has been ordered.  (I went for the wee silver one.)  Supposedly processing takes 3-5 days and I think then it gets shipped.  I guess I'll see then whether this really does work.

In the meantime, sarcasticval is plagued by people who promise to do her referral, but then sign up and never complete it.  Valid choice, but annoying, so hey!  If you still want to try this, do her a favor and go here.  If you don't really want to go for the ipod yourself but feel especially generous, you could always just sign up for ancestry.com and cancel shortly thereafter to help her out.
