Deep thoughts on Cowboy Bebop

There's something ironic about thinking happily about taking a breather and then getting blown up. And it's not the happy fun kind of ironic. It's the shrapnel kind.

Vicious must have huge dry cleaning bills, because that bird of his has got to shit on his shoulder constantly.

Why does the Bebop have an overhead fan? Don't they have temperature control?

Faye comes home with many packages, and yet she never changes her clothes. Hmm.

They sure did pay a lot of attention to accurately rendering the bounciness of bra-less boobies.

There are so many pervy out-of-context quotes in this episode I don't know where to start.

"Left, right, left, right, shoot shoot shoot!"

Curse you, Fanboy Bebop. I can no longer watch this artistic falling scene without being SURE that Spike is remembering all the fanservice he's seen over the year.

Julia's hair is so perfectly coiffed and shiny it's like she's an understudy for Mean Girls or something.

I don't think Spike's mouth is really injured. I think Faye just wrapped it up to torture him.

Spike's muffled "OWWWWW!" is the best. Thing. Ever.

And that's a wrap.

I was just thinking that while watching.

I think it's actually my favorite Spike line. It's so perfect, you know the VA had a pillow over his face or something.

Must see Julia icon with "Plastic" on it.

You know, that one never occurred to me. I suppose that's like asking why marshmellows are shaped the way they are.

They sure did pay a lot of attention to accurately rendering the bounciness of bra-less boobies.

I don't remember what her boobs looked like in episode 5, but when I was watching the movie DVD a long time ago, my dad passed by and said her boobs were drawn completely unrealistically and moved like water balloons. I shrugged.

I dunno about the movie--or even the accuracy in shape or whatever here--but they wiggle every time she moved, and in a dress like that, that's pretty accurate. So, uh...kudos to the animators, I guess.

How bought Faye's great Ass Straps that must be giving her a perpetual wedgie?

what i always wonder is how faye manages to run around without having her sweater fall off completely. 'cause it's perpetually "almost falling off."

Double-sided tape in key areas.
